Creating an avatar

So, you've read the rules and you're ready to create an avatar in the Fantasium. Great! This topic will help you get started, and also provide you with the form you'll be needing to build your avatar, and any other avatar you create in the future.

~*CREATING YOUR AVATAR FILE*~
If this is our first time creating an avatar in the Fantasium, the first thing you'll need to do is create your avatar file. Your file is where you'll be storing all the avatars you make, in your own personal topic. This helps not just the staff, but other users a lot in finding a particular character for reference.

Step 1 - Create a new topic in the Avatar Database section.
In the Avatar Database section, create a new topic by clicking the "NEW TOPIC" button. The title of your topic should somehow include your username, i.e. "Aster's Avatar File".

Step 2 - Use the following form to describe your avatar:
Name:
Age:
Height:
Weight:
Hair color/style:
Eye color:
Personality:
Personal skills: [i.e. Cooking, acrobatics, singing, etc. Try to be realistic in this section!]
[*It is important to note that skills may be granted to an avatar in a dream in order to make the avatar flexible with the dream's setting. For example, if a dream involves the use of magic, one may grant their avatar magic abilities. These "dream skills" are, however, specific ONLY to the dream(s) in question.]

[This is where you will list the dreams this avatar is currently participating in, if any.]
Dream skills: [Name any skills or abilities given to your avatar in the dream(s) you listed. Remember that dream skills should be relevant to the dream at hand, and should be used only to make the avatar fit the dream's setting!]

Step 3 - That's all there is to it! If you have any questions when building an avatar, feel free to ask a staff member for assistance, or use an existing avatar file as a reference. Happy dreaming!
